This is the devil's agreement USAC has made with the idea they can count on local Indiana cars to support a so-called national series, when these guys can travel less than 100 miles and find a good place to compete, why go to Nebraska. More money, more prestige, more marketing, and appropriate amounts of media coverage to entice sponsorship and people in the stands.
