I'm watching the nationwide race at Elkhart lake. Larson is 4th at halfway. Impressive to say the least. Not bad for first time on a road course. Also nice to see Cole Whitt's name again. He's 10th.
I hate the way the announcers go nuts over all these supposed great road course drivers like piquet jr, even after he wrecks and is no factor, but don't give Larson any credit at all because he's jus a dirt driver I'm sure. I hope he smokes them all.

The only cars they can't drive are INDY Cars! That is because they will never be given the chance to show up the road course guys on their turf. Today Road America race proves that a racer is a racer. Both Larson and Whitt have what it takes to run Indy or anything on that schedule. Glad I got to see them race in Indiana for the past few years.

Larson has a Top-10 Finish in every race, but Daytona and Talledega!...Congrats to Allgaier,too...He drove a SLM at the age of 16,locally..He is a good shoe!
There is always room for one more in the corner! I'm disguised as a responsible adult!...

I agree with you and it makes you wonder why Nascar is so popular now. Could it be , because the most talented drivers in the world , we are able to see at a local track on a given Friday night and turn around and watch them at a big track on Sunday. Kinda like Indy used to be in the 70/80s uh. Get a grip Indy car , start putting young American sprint/midget drivers in your cars and you will see your popularity rise.
