The USAC schedule shows a Silver Crown race at THAT on April 28. This is a Sunday. Is this correct? Will it be a night or day race?
If it is a day race, we can go. If it is a night race we will stay home, as the wife has to go to work early Monday morning
With the trouble they are having getting crowds, it seems like a bad idea to have a Sunday night race.

Day, night, it doesn't matter to me. Everyone will be itching to get to a race after the long winter, and with Kokomo off there wont be much else going on unless VCS uses their rain date from their first show of the year. Either way, its big cars at a historic venue and that's a great thing.

You do not know my wife. I could probably lay out drunk in a bar and there would be no problem, but go to a race and not take her is a mortal sin.

We will be at Eldora on April 20 for a Sprintcar show, this should ease the itch a little bit.

Trouble getting crowds at THAT? Not the sprint races I've attended.

I agree about the Spintcar crowds. I was there last year for the Sprint, Silver Crown double header.
Friday for the Sprint show the crowd was large with a good car count. Sat. for the Silver Crown show very small crowd and only 14 cars.
