That seems the way it may be, but why wouldn't they say the person who finishes ahead in the last race? I'm not going to speculate on the rule I will just let USAC make the final decision.

I agree with Sacha and Robert, the two positions should be added together and split when it comes to payoff for points. Both drivers drove hard and had good seasons, no matter what fan opinions were. But USAC will have the final say and we hope it is a fair decission. Sam Stockon SR.

It would be simpler to just have the same tie breaker for all the positions. The same one they use for first. You would know going into the event who would come out ahead in case of a tie. Whoever amasses the points first seems odd and unclear to me, not to mention unfair.

Funny u were awful quick to jump on here and point out that Chase deserved it more and now youre trying to toss it off as fan opinions and how you are ok with splitting it. Just an observation. Like I said tough deal for both guys they both ran good but u turned me off when u made your posts for how chase got cheated and why he deserved it more. USAC posts in their rules which shows were show up points only and which werent it was easy to know that going in. Pretty sad u have to bash USAC and basically say the guy that ties with u is less deserving of it - which is what u did when your other posts go on about how either the math is wrong or on show up nights chase did better so he is more worthy.

PS - I think u should be happy u got to earn owner points after running the heat as 11x and the feature as 32. In other series they would have made you go to the tail whether it was the sane car or not for the number change since it was 11x that transferred through heat and those points would have belonged to Walker. But oh of course usac isn't bad for being in your favor on that one.

Just to clear things up SamSr32 is not affiliated with the Stockon motorsports team his opinions are those of his own and do not reflect the views of Chase Stockon. No reason to drag Chase into something he has no control over and somewhat degrading post to someone who has done nothing wrong.

Sam Sr has nothing to do with Chase's racing! it is just his own opinion like everyone else. They (Chase & Robert) both are deserving of the position. They both run their asses off all season. Chase doesn't care of the outcome, it is what it is. I wanted to clarify and state my opinion. It will be Usac's decision of the outcome no matter who said what or who did what.

Thanks for clearing that up - wasn't trying to degrade chase at all or even drag him into it. Since SamSr32 is a family member (his grandfather) it gives the impression hes speaking for the family and team - helps to know he doesnt necessarily. I'm glad that chase doesn't share the same views because he drove great this year and has been fun to watch. Obviously he earned 6th same as Ballou who also had a great run in points how that will shake out with USAC is up to them and their rules but they are both deserving of congrats on a great year.

He just sounds like a proud Grandpa to me. Can't blame him for being a little biased toward his grandson.
