Last night kicked off the 17th Annual Oval Nationals at Perris Auto Speedway with points leader Bryan Clauson picking up his seventh USAC National Sprint Car victory of the year and adding one point to his lead over third place finishing Dave Darland. They head into tonight's season finale just 8 points apart in the 2012 USAC Championship chase. Clauson needs to finish within 2 positions* of Darland to secure his first career USAC National Sprint Car title. Or will Darland find a way to win his second career National Sprint Car Championship with the United States Auto Club? If you can't be at Perris Auto Speedway tonight to see the exciting conclusion to the 2012 USAC season, then tune in to www.circletracknetwork.com for all the action. Produced and directed by Henry Clarke, and shot by myself up top and Tim Truex in turn 3, we will bring it all right into your living room. Tune in and see how it all unfolds starting at 8:30PM EST/5:30PM PST. Don't miss it!
*2 positions inside the top ten. In other words, if Darland wins, Clauson secures the title with a third or better. If both finish outside the top ten, Clauson would win the title by finishing within 4 positions or better. 4 positions would equal a tie, with the title going to Clauson with 7 victories on the season to Darland's six.

You are correct. Last nights stuff is there but nothing about tonight... I am hoping and praying Dave can take the championship. Not wishing anything bad for Bryan just hope Dave can make it happen.
