Boone Speedway in Iowa shows how to Prep a track in the middle of the show. In under 10 minutes. Tommy would be proud of these guys

It is a site to see. been there 2 times for the super nationals. they even have jet dryers at the track. Haven't saw them in action but have hear them. Was told to stay away when they are on the track, wonder why haha

I wonder if all of that is the track's equipment, or if some local farmers agree to help out. It is a well run operation, that's for sure.

For those about to rock, we salute you.

It all belongs to the track. When we were up there doing the Pay Per View for the Supernationals and talked to one of the prep crew guys. They also blew up the jet dryer

They made literally a half lap and it exploded.

What are the tractors pulling at the beginning? Are those just discs?

They ever run sprints there? Wonder how that woodchip / dirt surface would hold up to that type of power/tire combo... I'd think those RR's would make some gnarly ruts as loosely packed as that surface stays...

Seen that same video on 4m. This track staff could teach other tracks a thing or two on track prep.

While it is a well ran track prep operation, that is hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment that most "blue collar" tracks will never have the resources for.
