Wow! The sports section of this mornings Evansville paper had the complete results from Lincoln Park Speedway!

There was also a nice article on Kyle Cummins in Sunday's Evansville Courier. Mentioned his win at TSS @ his plan to run for the ISW Championship

Ron,or anyone, when and who was the last "local" winner at TSS? My guess is Hud Cone 2 or 3 years ago. Probably Jonathon Vennard a year or 2 before that...just my guess.

I maybe wrong but am thinking Hud hasn;t won a feature at TSS Thinking you;re right bout Vennard though

Last really "Local" was going way back, probably with Hayhurst or Sulawski.

Kyle lives about 12 miles from TSS. If Hud won a feature he lives in the Oakland City area about 20 miles from TSS. Hayhurst@ Sulwaske were both from Evansville about 17 miles from TSS. It seems they were all "local boys".

Donnie Brackett is the closest to TSS now. He lives just up the road in Ft.Branch. Jerry Hamby also ran with Hayhurst,Sulwaske,@ Mark Cummins etc and he was from Ft.Branch too.

Jim,

Hud won the Hoosier Sprint Nationals, I think it was 7 years ago. Clauson finished second. Damion Gardner would have won it in the Chaffin #50, because he had the field smoked twice. He checked out, spun, went to the back and ran all the way through the field, but his day came to an end when his engine burst into flames coming out of turn two.

Heck, I thought the last "local" winner was Kyle Cummins on June 30, 2012. The only REAL local winner would be Tommy Helfrich when he dominated in late models when he lived next door.

I watched Tommy win a bunch of races @ TSS. He was the man in a LM.
