From my end of the grapevine I'm hearing no one has been hired for next season. They have resigned Mean Green as the primary sponsor for next year. They are looking for a driver who can win USAC races and also help win their 10th USAC National Sprint Car Championship. They are committed to providing the equipment to run up front and with the right driver are open to changing to a chassis of that drivers liking whether it is a coil or bar car.
Im glad they decided now that they are willing to change chassis considering Daron Clayton put up a chassis of his own this past year so he could be more comfortable in that car and they told him no! So I am atleast happy they are willing to do that for someone else for next year.

Good to see mean green back with the Hoffman's. I wish the success in 2012.
Larson was able to win both times in the car and I think it was his first time driving a coil car. I guess it just what you are comfortable with and it's good to see Hoffman's open to changing to a chassis of the drivers liking whether it coil or bar car.
Couple of other guys come to mind. The most underrated driver in Indiana, Bobby Stines is one. The other is one who wins on a shoestring, and is great in a coil car, Chase Stockon. You couldn't go wrong with either one.

Umm. I'm sorry sir, but "Shoestring" is a registered trademark of the www.shoestringracing.com corporation... My attorneys will soon be in touch.
