Responding to Jason's phone call would have ended all this.

Then what about the fact that Shatz and one of the KKR cars ran the event with no penalties???? Favoritism???? something is just fishy |

That's the kicker right there at the end. If the other two cars that ran the unauthorized race are not subject to the same punishment, then WoO are way out of line and can expect to lose a lawsuit. If all three teams are penalized, then Jason has no leg to stand on. It doesn't say if the other teams were penalized as well, but implies they weren't. Anybody got the scoop?

Looks like WRG is really trying to fubar this whole situation. From IBRACIN website:
It is being reported that Jason Sides wasn't allowed at he banquet on Sunday. No table for Sides and no money either. Looks as if the WoO is fighting back and as a result, the law suit is forthcoming. This will be interesting to see how this all plays out. Sure would be nice if Stewart and Kahne would lean on the the leadership of WRG and have them actually do the right thing. |

After watching Charlotte on Saturday it's pretty obvious that of the three series that raced, the sprint cars were the least exciting of the three. WRG should worry more about their product and less about enforcing a half-assed rule.
