Will it be rescheduled this year?

Called USAC Yesterday they said NO.

I can't remember the last time a Silver Crown race has been rained out and then rescheduled for later in the year. surely it's happened, but I can't remember it.

Last I remember was Terre Haute in 1981, I think . Bettenhausen and Pancho raced for the title.

Springfield rained out one time in the 90's. They ran it in October. It was cool and the track was lightning fast. Robby Flock set a track record that stood for quite a few years.

I remember the 2001 Hoosier Hundred being rained out in May and was ran Friday, September 28, on the weekend of the United States Grand Prix.

Also, if I recall correctly, the 01 Hoosier Hundred rain date was originally the day before the Indy 500, but that was also a washout.

I sure hope that someone who wants to promote the Action Track and not just race on it comes in next year somehow. I know any racing is better then no racing, but months between races should not happen at THAT.

I remember that! Having it the weekend of the US Grand Prix was awesome, and there was a good turnout.

The Hoosier 100 during the Grand Prix was hilarious to see men dressed in suits and tux's and women in dresses and high heels. There was a great turn out though. Wasn't last years' SC race at THAT rescheduled from July to October due to rain. That was just last year you guys! They used to reschedule Springfield the Saturday of the Tom Knowels' Memorial at Canton. You had Jacksonville Fri. night, Springfield Saturday afternoon and Canton that night. It was perfect.

Could someone other than Track Enterprises possibly schedule a Silver Crown race on a mile again? Are there no other takers????
