Still waiting for a pit reporter to tell us why Ron Shuman did not start the "A"??? :headbang:
Actually, we'll take an explanation from anyone who may know! Thanks!

In the interview with Ron, he didn't seem to be looking forward, one bit,
to the prospect of racing 50 laps. I didn't hear anything else, after that. I just assumed that as good as he looked in the B, that he decided to go out on a positive note.

I was just watching the race again and this is what I think happened.

When the wreck happened between the 6th and 7th place cars, The Red 12 of I believe Billy Wease was actaully in 8th and went high to avoid the wreck, Ron went low and passed them all.

They went to the last completed lap for those of them that hadnt allready taken the checkered so Billy Wease, who was in 8th taking the white flag, was scored as the 6th place finisher.

Wow! If that is what happened (and that seems very possible), Emmet & Lanny might want to buy some extra security.
Between what went on with Casey on Wedenesday, and possibly this... Yeeouch!!!
Either way, the "Flyin Shoe" has still got the goods!!!

He had a flat tire and still tried to keep running and they black flagged him and he did not pull off of the track this is something that is happening way to much.If you have a flat tire then get the hell of the track even if the officials miss it to you are a danger to yourself let along the rest of the field out there it is called using your head for something else besides a freaking hat rack show some class and pull off of the track it was not your day try again another one.

Uh, They restarted twice before that and he had the same flat then, Why woudn't you question the call?. Was at a race at Gas City this year where they didn't black flag a car with a flat RR and let him restart.

Chuck, saying yeah, You should obey the flagman but he was in a transfer spot and they had restarted the race twice before that with the same problem, From the video they showed last night, It wasn't completely flat anyway.

The tire wasn't all the way flat. On the restarts the car was pulling away 3-4 car lengths. The car was not having any handling issues. There was no reason for a black flag.

I read last night that the electronic scoring showed Wease ahead of him at the line.

If you were there, You should have been able to see that the tire was decidedly low, but not flat. If you weren't there, you should not make such posts.
