At leat 3 tracks are having a fireworks show with the racing this weekend. Kokomo and Putnamville charge extra for the fireworks, Bloomington charges the regular price. What do you all think about that, are you interested in the fireworks? is it worth the extra $? Not looking to get kicked around about this issue just want to see the opinion of the board.

Fireworks on the 4th are traditional, but we don't go to the races to see fireworks. I say not worth any extra $ and shouldn't delay the show.

I love fireworks, but I dont believe you should be charged extra for them. Bloomington Power Sports sponsors the night at Bloomington, therefore allowing the same GenAd price I believe.

Agree 100% Do not like that the fans get charged more for a show you can see for miles all around the city. Then again, it is just 3 bucks.

I am suprised general admission hasn't went up around the state yet. It has been around the $12 mark for around 10/11 years now.........

I don't mind paying, but the fireworks I came to see happen under green.

I think the cost of a fireworks show ranges from 2500.00 to 3000.00.some one has to pay for it.
It does not hurt a on of us to stay an extr 15-20 minutes for them. Jmo

For only $2 or $3 extra a ticket it doesn't bother me. It costs quite a bit to put on those fireworks shows. They will have free fireworks 20 minutes from my house Saturday night, but I'd rather drive the two hours to LPS. Last time I checked they weren't planning on racing non wing sprints around the town square in St. Francisville.

I know its the 4th weekend and all and I am proud to be an American just like you are but take that 3k and put it to a feature win instead of fireworks, they then can charge that extra at the gate and more people would come.
