26 cars. They are saying no sprint car hot laps on the pit pa because they were to slow to stage. Street stocks and thunder cars on the track now......lol. at least sprint cars can save some fuel for once
now they are saying on track pa they will hot lap later
They just wheel packed, now there all in the pits with motors running

I'm sorry - and I'll probably get flames for this but I think it's unacceptable to "punish" the sprint cars because a track doesn't have enough equipment to whe pack on it's own. These drivers and teams pay to get in to put on a show so this promoter can hopefully make a profit, they pay again in additional fuel to run a track in to get it ready just so they can race and they are punished because they aren't quick enough to wheel pack? Hot laps prevent accidents in my opinion and give racers a chance to fine tune their cars so they can put on a better show for the promoter. I find it very disappointing that you would penalize the very people the fans paid to watch. I am of the understanding they still have not decided if they'll allow hot laps or not. Yes I am - the statement was made "they weren't quick enough to wheel pack" so no hot laps for them. Wheel packing is part of track prep. I know some tracks ask the cars to do it and some don't and that's fine - but don't punish them when track prep is a promoters responsibility.
Btw - heats are already running without one set of hot laps for sprints so the announcer was incorrect. Posted using Mobile Device
