I thought I looked rather thoroughly, but the only two tracks I could find were for Kokomo and Joe Spiker/Lincoln Park. Perhaps I missed others, but those were the only two I could find.

Dave, like ships passing in the night, from the time of our posts it looks like we were both sending messages at the same time. I was afraid I just missed your ad. Sure would be nice if the other tracks would buy one. I know that several of them post on here quite regularly.

Well darn... Here I thought I had all of you guys fooled. I must come clean, you are right, there isn't a money fairy. Now, there are some fairy's but I can wait to tell those folks in person.

BTW Frank, I was going to purchase one of those money tree plants but then I realized I wouldn't get the investment return that I was hoping for. :2:

On a serious note... When I started this site, I paid $5.95/month for hosting. Uhhh that is not the case now. The size and traffic of this site require a much larger hosting package now. So I say thank you to all of those businesses and individuals that help me pay the costs associated with providing this site.

Bill,
If you're getting a money tree,be very selective as to which tree you buy.I bought one and it only grows $3.00 and $7.00 bills!

Both of you are too young to remember, but back in the day money trees gave an excellent return on investment. I guess they cross-bred them so much in an attempt to improve them that they actually made them less valuable.

You might want to be careful who you limit to being able to post. I know you need paying advertisers but I remember a race paper that started only showing results from those who bought ads and I do believe they are out of business now. Just consider your ad buying friends as "very good" friends.

I agree. I know this place needs money in order to survive, but if anything, advertising by race tracks should be free of charge if this place truly supports the local short tracks. I would think we would want them to be able to advertise, attract fans to their events, and KEEP THE GATES OPEN. Isn't that what we all want?

I'm surprised I haven't read someone on here taking a stand saying they won't go to a track unless they have paid for an ad on here. Do you want to help tracks get people in the gates and stay open, or raise their costs (even though it probably isn't that much) and draw them closer to being finished? Does this place even exist without the great dirt tracks of Indiana that provide us with something so many of us enjoy and take for granted?

I think dirtnonwingfan should have to pay before posting here. It's only fair.
As a matter of fact, let's have everyone pay. It might cut down the number of worthless posts that have to read to get the racing results, etc. that I come here for.

With Frank and his wife being one of our primary sponsors and knowing he has helped other race drivers thru the years I think he has the right to voice his opinion on this or any other racing board. I can not prove it but I would bet he has helped Bill with I.O.W. Frank is a big man with a big heart and one of the best sponsors we have had the pleasure to work with.
