There Ain't No Money Fairy

The latest post by LovRacinRog just pushed me over the top. In that post he solicits business for his site. I have looked all over this board and can't find any ad he has paid for on IOW. We currently have a promoter making multiple posts for a minisprint show this weekend and, again, no paid ad. This winter we had multiple posts, complete with large type and a big picture, for minisprint races in Florida. No paid ad. We all know how many posts we got last year about a sprint car organization which has apparently died. No paid ad.

Enough is enough. The money fairy does not fly over Bill's house dropping cash with which he can support IOW. The good folks whose ads you see on these pages support IOW. I appreciate the threads on here which inform us of events I might not otherwise hear about, but not time after time after time. BUY AN AD!!! Stop sponging off of Bill for free publicity.

I canned the thread just as soon as I saw it, Frank. It was way over the top, IMO. It was very misleading, also. Plus, this guy has been talked to in the past, repeatedly, about doing the same thing.

I said as much in a post he made about three days ago about a LM race in VA.

Pure spam to try to get hits on his their site while contributing nothing to this one or Indiana Sprint/Midget racing whatsoever.

Buy a ad . Link to this site ect. or be gone

Just wondering how many if any of the track promoters that post on IOW actually have a paid ad for their track?

I must be overlooking the Lawrenceburg Speedway ads. Are they on the main page? I see Lincoln Park Speedway and Kokomo but no Lawrenceburg.

Out of curiosity, if I had a business and I wanted to buy an add on IOW, how much would it cost?
