Late 80's Sprint Car hood question/info?!?!

Im just curious as to who made these hoods? where they chassis manufacturer specific by chance?? Ive seen'em on these couple different cars......

I think the one on the Kings car were built by Lee Osborne and Steve "The Greek" Panarites for Karl.

The later of the two pics are just made out of aluminum. They were really quite simple, most people thought they were ugly but I liked them. And I do belive that the earlier ones were Challenger hoods.

I have a '87 Gambler with that hood on the last two. It's made of fiberglass tho.

The nose is one piece and the part that goes over the engine is another.
