It's a long story if you havent been around long. Lincoln Park had a sprintweek date but the promoter was such an that he lost it. New promoter in now and he has several USAC races scheduled this year and is hoping to get a date next year. Brownstown had a successful USAC date last year and got a sprintweek date this year. OF course in order to get a sprintweek date you must pass muster with the other promoters who have dates. So there is some ******** involved but tracks that deserve the dates usually eventually get them just not always as quickly as they want them.

I've been wanting to come back there for ever since I'd seen the races on Wide World Of Sports at Terre Haute when I was a kid.It only took me 25 years ha ha.I used to work on 360 wing cars back in the mid 90's my Dad worked on them in the 70's and 80's.So Iv'e always wanted to come back and stay awhile and see alot of non wing since we dont get to much out here in the NorthWest. We have a non wing tour that started last year in Oregon and come up to out track 4 times a year but it's not like back in non wing country lol...
