I agree. ![]() This would also be a great track for midgets. I love open wheel here (well ok... I love open wheel just about anywhere) but this is a nice facility and close to the I-39 & I - 80. ![]() The track was prepped and the show moves right along. Even though it's a 120 miles from me. I wonder if the drivers like it? Considering the small car count Thursday. Even if it was up against USAC on the pavement, many of the NON Usac Sprints from Danville didn't make the trip?

With Lincoln running for good money on Sunday, it looks like a good weekend to me. More races for La Salle right away may not be the best idea. They've got big-ticket shows coming up with Summernationals and the World of Outlaws. Might be best to start looking ahead a little more and thinking of something down the line into the late summer/early fall... |

One thing I would like to see, would be Sprint Bandits,
Usac or MSCS involved with Illinois Sprint week.

What I'd like to see is promoters stepping up to the plate. Weyant won Sprint Week fair and square and should be entitled to the money for such, plain and simple.
