I agree.
This would also be a great track for midgets.
I love open wheel here (well ok... I love open wheel just about anywhere) but this is a nice facility and close to the I-39 & I - 80.
The track was prepped and the show moves right along.
Even though it's a 120 miles from me. I wonder if the drivers like it?
Considering the small car count Thursday.
Even if it was up against USAC on the pavement, many of the NON Usac Sprints from Danville didn't make the trip?

Peace & love to all.
God bless our Troops at home and abroad.

Looking at my calendar, the logical time would be before the $3,000 to win at Lincoln on Sunday, June 27. Unfortunately, that would be in conflict with the 75th anniversary races at Little Belleville on June 25 & 26, but life is about choices. Week after that is MSCS at Tri-State, the two weeks after that Indiana Sprint Week.

Anyway, I certainly hope this happens. I would hope that there would be a good turnout with the possibility of three nights of racing with good payouts each night.
USAC is at Burlington on Saturday, June 26th. I'm surprised you haven't noticed that. Shouldn't be very far from just about anywhere in central Illinois, and that place is a gem. Plus, it's a doubleheader!!

With Lincoln running for good money on Sunday, it looks like a good weekend to me. More races for La Salle right away may not be the best idea. They've got big-ticket shows coming up with Summernationals and the World of Outlaws. Might be best to start looking ahead a little more and thinking of something down the line into the late summer/early fall...

One thing I would like to see, would be Sprint Bandits,
Usac or MSCS involved with Illinois Sprint week.

Peace & love to all.

What I'd like to see is promoters stepping up to the plate. Weyant won Sprint Week fair and square and should be entitled to the money for such, plain and simple. Really tired of seeing racers get screwed.
Especially by Ex racers........

My bad. I took that off my race calendar because I am planning to go to Little Belleville for its 75th Anniversary. Thanks for catching that. That really is one of the good things about this board. There are so many knowledgeable fans on here, if one doesn't provide all the necessary information, someone else will. Thanks again.
