It does look good, too bad I'm not going anywhere this weekend. I'm really a glass half full kinda guy, but I've learned along time ago that meteorologists are really just modern day snake oil salesman. I really think it's just some guys in the backroom of a news studio throwing darts at a spinning dart board. 2009 had much better weekend weather then 2008, lets hope it gets better this season.

How long have you been going to races in Indiana? What they predict on Monday usually has little to do with what happens 5 days later. Now if the same forecast is up on say Thursday then I will celebrate with you.

Exactly! I have been going to Indiana for years to the races. I plan on going to N.Vernon saturday. Watched the Louisville news about an hour away from N.Vernon. They are allready saying 30% chance of P.M. Rain saturday night.

Well, I've been going for 58 years. My bad though...I know exactly what you mean by the extended forecast....All they do is get your hopes up. I was just excited about going to the races...kinda like a kid in a candy store.
