Beaver Dam Raceway announces a New Division to it's Saturday night program


February 2010. Badger Midget Auto Racing Association joins Beaver Dam Raceway. Beaver Dam Raceway is extremely pleased to announce a contract has been reached to add to its already successful Saturday Night racing program. Beaver Dam Raceway has been looking to enhance their Saturday Night Program and had been exploring a variety of options. One of those had been adding a sprint car class to their schedule. This option is no longer being explored for the 2010 season. A recent development in the 2010 schedule of the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association has created a unique opportunity that was not even being considered two months ago when this search began. Badger officials have reached an agreement to join the Saturday Night racing program for the 2010 season. The Badger Midget Auto Racing Association comes with a 60 plus year history of successful racing events. The storied history of the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association takes in some of the best racers in the nation and some are regarded as the greats of the sport. Open wheel race fans will be thrilled to find the exiting midgets join the five division Saturday Night racing program. General Manager Carolyn Mueller was Quoted as stating “ We believe the Badger Midgets are an exciting form of racing and know we can successfully add them into our Saturday race program. We continue to look for ways to provide the very best in motor-sports entertainment to our loyal fans.” A nine race schedule of Saturday night racing programs including the Badger Midgets is May 22nd, 29th,June12th,July 3,24,31,Aug21,28th and Sept 4th These will be added to the date already reserved for the open wheel season opener scheduled for May 1. Right on!

Beaver Dam adds a quality series to its schedule. Keeping midget racing alive and maybe (hopefully) giving the firemen time to see if they can be successful on their own.

I personally still consider Sun Prairie the home of the midgets and want to see top notch midget racing there. But it is good to know Beaver Dam is just up the road.

Conflicting dates with the USAC races at APS.
July 3rd, August 28th, September 4th.

Don't you mean SIX classes. Badger is being added to the other five classes.

They only have 9 dates at Beaver Dam and somehow 3 of them conflict with Angell Park.

They do have a 11:00 pm curfew so they must be going to move the show along.
