I guess I made the right call to stay in West Memphis for another night of ASCS sprint cars at The Ditch! 44 cars and Tim Crawley came from 11th to win on a beautiful race track. Brady Bacon won his heat but got tangled up on the first lap. Jesse Hockett put on a show all night and ended up third. Expecting a few more cars tonight including an appearance by Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. Sorry you guys got rained out - see ya at Kokomo tomorrow!

For all you Hoosiers looking for a race, it looks like Logansport (US 24 speedway) might still be racing night 2 of their Outlaw Nationals for winged and non-wing 600cc micro sprints tonight.

This comes from a retired elementary school teacher. (my sister's 1st grade teacher, actually.) When I hear folks complain about the weather today, I think of all those who slogged through rain, slept in muddy fox holes, tramped through underbrush with wet shoes and socks....all so that we could have the freedom we have today. We are a little inconvenienced...some of them gave lives and limbs. America may not be perfect, but we have the best nation in the world. Thanks to those who made America what it is today.
