That's a classy post, Eric. I already liked you and now I like you more.

A little bit of controversy is not a bad thing. The Little 500 is a very special race, and it means a LOT to win it. Not just money, but a different kind of meaning. Sometimes that brings out the best and the worst in us, because we're human. However, one fact has not changed over the past few years and it did not change last night: I have tremendous respect for both Eric and Dave as racers, period. And I respect them both as quality individuals as well.

Migdet82 I agree entirely. Very well said. And about the Anderson Herald they tend to screw things up on a daily basis.

When steele went to pass adams a second time after spinning him the first time he nearly took him out yet again.

And to Gordan class act.

Thanks Eric. Not for one second did I ever think that you ever meant that you lost it in the pits. Our car isn't the same after last year's crash. Maybe we need a new "old *****".

I thought it was a great race. I really was pulling for Eric and felt like he had a great run. I still am not convinced as to what happened when steele came off the pits b/c he was not by any means in front of the pace car, but granted also the push truck messed him up. Dave still drove a great race and Eric drove his heart out and came back.

Still my congrats still go out to Donnie Jr. Grew up around watching him and his dad and Donnie ran a great race had a couple close calls (to close if you ask me) including an incident with Steele and managed to have some awesome saves! Donnie ran a great race and so glad he made it to third. He hasn't ran in almost 2 years but the kid still has amazing stamina and strength!

Good job to all the teams that finished! Brandon Whited my brothers team mate managed to hang in there after having some car troubles so i'm proud of him very much too!!!

Its funny their was 80 + laps left and you want to say their wouldnt be another caution.. you dont know that!

Adams finished 3 laps down.. not 1.. first off.. and lost 1 from the spin out.. so hmm do the math.. and again lastly, its hard to pass someone on the high side when they are running the middle of the track..

POINT BEING STEELE WON, GORDON WAS OUT OF LINE.. AND IT SEEMS LIKE EVERYONES ON THE GORDON BAND WAGON.. thats fine but dont whine when you lose.. and you lose after blocking on a caution lap.. and then blame on losing the race in the pits.. this post should be renamed everyone who whines like ERIC.. lol other than that its over.. Steele won.. take it to the house! later...

P.s. ELI, sorry for the idiot remark.. it was out of line.. sorry for that..
9Racing not putting down what you said at all. However it may be difficult to pass someone who's running the middle of the track but dave has been around long enough if he had the skill he could have done it. Plus if you watched at all Donnie ran that same line the whole race and he still managed to make many clean passes high and low without ever touching anyone. So steele could have done the same.

Either way still great race and Donnie shows he's a class act b/c he still congratulated him, one small bump and he was over it

Facts are steel did what he had to do, hands down. Eric ran a very good race to. The only thing I wonder is, if eric had just been rideing around behind steel, not useing up his tires, would steel have been so compelled to boot adams to get that caution? I know this is a race of laps, but he flat got beat by tires. steel waited and had better tire. No matter what i want to thank these 2 drivers for makeing the race fun to watch. there are SEVERAL things the track needs to start working on to improve this race. I'm not sure who the moron was that said every car that gets hauled off with a wrecker gets dropped in the back. I seen a few crews try to make repairs, but couldn't because they did not have enough time. You never know haw this race is going to go, you need every car running possible.
