!996, when Mark Cassella won at Lawrenceburg, Ultimate challenge won by Jesse Hockett. I can think of about 20 tied for third.

That was the race that came immediately to my mind, Charles. It was my first and only visit to Kamp, and I distinctly remember getting hit hard on the shoulder by a walnut-sized rock. Tough conditions but a great race.

That is a good one!! No matter how many times I watch (and know the outcome) I am on my feet!
Just like when Marty is racing for the lightening bolt in Back to The Future! Haha!

I couldn't even begin to answer that question. There have been so many great races over the years, that were each great in their own unique way. Legendary races are like works of fine art. Here's one I will always remember and am so thankful I was lucky enough to witness:

You Tube Video
Click on the "Watch on YouTube" link. It won't let you imbed the video.

Sitting in the covered grandstand that day, your view wasn't nearly as clouded by the dust as it was from Dean's vantage point. Around feature time, especially.

That's Chris Nunn on the call, BTW.

at age 50 this is prolly the best one ive seen. Ascot had quite a few great ones as did Baylands and West Capital. But this was my favorite.
