Warm start issues

I'm having some issues with car starting while warm.. Run race won race stop in front stretch then go fire car after pics and dead won't turn over but once car cools fires up... Well except this wk now with batteries fully charged barely wants to turn over anyone kno whts going on?

Your timing is advanced to far or you need a heat shield for your starter. JMO

what kind of motor is it is it a motorcycle motor or an automotive motor

Sorry its a 08 gsxr 1000 its in a mini sprint... Im thinking its the starter as i fully charged batteries and would barely turn over then u tap starter and it will start turning faster but still very slow... going to swap it out today..

First congratulations on you're win. I would bet it's the starter. Did you know if you have a good starter and alternator shop in you're area they can rebuild them. Normally all that's wrong are the brushes. Hope that helps.

It's a stock motor stock specs... Thx this was our second win.. I have a spare starter I'm going to swap it out and see if this is issue..

Over a period of time running, through normal were, the valves will beat into the seats. Therefore closing the distance between the cam and the valve(or valve bucket, or lifter, or whatever style valve train you have) that's why it's important to check your valve lash periodically and reset it as needed. I'm not saying that is your problem, but I'm just giving you the reason why being a stock engine doesn't mean that the valve aren't too tight.
