I know its a couple of weeks away yet but is anyone planning to come out east for Indiana Sprint Week?

Not sure on Cali/Arizona clan but if someone five years ago would have told me a OKIE/Louisiana clan would be kicking butt in Indiana. I would have called them liars.

I've been told that the VanderWeerd brothers are going back and possibly Ryan Bernal.

Don't get me wrong - I appreciate the effort it takes for ANYONE to commit to ISW - but I must admit I miss the days of a half dozen or more west coasters making the long haul out here.

I remember in the early 60's when Jim Hurtubise and Parnelli Jones came east with their Chevy-powered Fike and Sterling Plumbing Specials. Turned sprint car racing on it's ear. And gave the sport two of its most colorful characters.

I thought that I read something earlier in the season about the Demon coming east for ISW. . . .

USAC should give some tow money to anybody in the top 10 in USAC/CRA points and market it as west coast vs midwest kind of thing.
