Brad Sweet won a great All-Star Race at Waynesfield last night. Sweet, Gary Wright and Dave BLaney battled for the lead over the 40 lapper. Ultimately, Sweet made the fewest mistakes to take the win. Dale BLaney and Tim Shaffer were clsoe to the hunt too.

IT was great to see Dave up front and battling for the win. THe place was excited when he took the lead. He drifted back to forth after starting on the poll.

It was good to be see mudpacker there last night at the track too.

I wish the crowd was a little better. I like Waynesfield. It is the closest dirt track for me and I try to get there as much as possbile. Non-winged cars are back on 7/3, 7/10, 7/24 and the Hewitt Classic on 8/7. Hope everyone comes over to see a non-winged show at the 'Field.

Always good to see you hoosierhillbilly. I will also mention that the track held up very well and allowed for competitive racing throughout the field. Dean Miracle has done a great job as the promoter for WRP. I also enjoy Gary Keysor and his announcing style. He also runs his butt off getting down on the track for victory lane interviews. Dean, get the man a cart!

Sweet, Wright, Schaffer and both Blaney's were all in contention for the win. I felt sorry for Cale Conley as he possibly had the fastest car on the track. He was moving up quickly from his 12th starting position until he was squeezed into the front stretch fence. Thankfully he was able to walk away from what looked like a totally destroyed race car.

Missed seeing mowerman or any of the other cast of characters. All in all a good night of racing. I was pulling out of the parking lot at 10:30 PM and was able to still make the 5:30 AM bell this morning.

You must have been hiding in the concession stand line again Mud-packer,cuz I didn't run into ya

The first 15 laps trough lap traffic were exciting as hell.

Anyone else think starting JACK at the back in the 2 seater was a bad ideaTHAT COULD HAVE BEEN UGLY

definately a bad idea. i mean its an experience but the starts can just be too crazy. shoot last week in the mini sprints we had 4 cars upside down before the 1st turn. dont think its too smart to have a fan riding along on the starts. just my opinion.

AERO,

You know me better than that! I am not one of the rubes from Anderson Speedway! Right down in front of the press box with hoosierhillbilly and a cast of many last night. The battle up front was great with multiple lines and when they entered lap traffic, things got very interesting.

They were real lucky last night that Jack and the two seater weren't involved with the first turn accident that brought out the red at the start. It is one thing for a driver to strap in and know the risks, but a fan certainly shouldn't be in that position. Of course, like most things, no one came over and asked my opinion last night either. I hope we don't see a repeat of that anytime in the near future.

Hoosierhillbilly and I both had on IOW apparel. Hope to meet you at the track sometime. I really like Waynesfield and hope to be back there a couple of more times this year.
