IT was great to see Dave up front and battling for the win. THe place was excited when he took the lead. He drifted back to forth after starting on the poll.
It was good to be see mudpacker there last night at the track too.
I wish the crowd was a little better. I like Waynesfield. It is the closest dirt track for me and I try to get there as much as possbile. Non-winged cars are back on 7/3, 7/10, 7/24 and the Hewitt Classic on 8/7. Hope everyone comes over to see a non-winged show at the 'Field.
.
Always good to see you hoosierhillbilly.

I will also mention that the track held up very well and allowed for competitive racing throughout the field. Dean Miracle has done a great job as the promoter for WRP. I also enjoy Gary Keysor and his announcing style. He also runs his butt off getting down on the track for victory lane interviews. Dean, get the man a cart!
Sweet, Wright, Schaffer and both Blaney's were all in contention for the win. I felt sorry for Cale Conley as he possibly had the fastest car on the track. He was moving up quickly from his 12th starting position until he was squeezed into the front stretch fence. Thankfully he was able to walk away from what looked like a totally destroyed race car.
Missed seeing mowerman or any of the other cast of characters.

All in all a good night of racing. I was pulling out of the parking lot at 10:30 PM and was able to still make the 5:30 AM bell this morning.
