Doesn't sound to me like it's a done deal that TSR is going away.

They've made a lot of changes this season in pursuit of getting faster.

Tod Quiring (Gravel's car owner) is providing a car for Schatz for the 7 upcoming races in Minnesota, Wisconsin and North Dakota. This is a good outcome for Schatz, it would have been a shame if he didn't have a ride for these races. Quiring deserves a pat on the back for doing this considering his no. 1 driver is in the middle of the point battle.

It's going to be fun to track Shatz vs. Madsen, who outruns who for those seven races and by how many positions.

I have no ill feelings towards TSR, but my bet is Shatz comes out on top.

Off topic of thread but here goes anyway.

The big team to close shop after this season will be Kasey Kahne Racing. Believe we will also see Brad Sweet retirement as the reason for the closure.

Find a purpose in life ..... Be a bad example

Do you think Sweet will make more money managing HiLimit than winning purses?

Madsen 3, Shatz 3

Madsen +7 positions

So that's the end of the seven race stretch with one rain out.

Shatz was down fifteen positions after the first night so that was a pretty big hole to dig out of.

Now that would be interesting. I could see Brad retiring, but Kahne shutting down his team? Why would he do that? He seems so passionate about the sport.
