Home town is Columbus, In. Red Amick was my "favorite", Roy Prosser showed up one night at Columbus, In, with I believe, a Chrysler products OHV V8. Crocket drove a flatdead Ford 6 cyl, owned by Dan Walls, where I "grew up", in his shop. That was one bad "half dozen". I rode in the woods, with Larriet, he had his left leg broken, and was riding a WWll 45cu in Harley, and when we'd come to a hill, where he couldn't use the foot brake, he'd just slide off, and let the ole Harley go, and he'd slide down behind it. Lots a good memories from those days, we weren't able to follow them on the summer circuit, Columbus, and Franklin were about the extent of it. Bob
