Car count and for that matter fan count are directly related to the economy and how much of our gas money we can waste on going to a race or working on our race cars.
Andy said 21 cars at Bloomington for these times that is a good number. Racephoto1 has some great 1000cc midget photo's posted, and it looks like we are getting some pretty good air time without the wings!!
I have always called our wing the $300.00 dollar crush proof box. (not adjusted for non-inflation) I still think someone could construct an aero box to fit on top of the roll cage that would absorb that first violent contact with the track surface and control that bounce found in the 4130 steel frame.
It isn't our wings but our sideboards that make us fast. Maybe requiring a smaller or no side board could be what we need.
