Thanks Jeff for bring back memories of a great Turkey Night! 1995 was a really great record setting year for Billy Boat and Tony Stewart.

thank you for providing this video, I noted that one of the competitors was judge George ito, wasn't he the judge in the infamous o j simpson trial?

George Ito is a strawberry farmer from Oxnard, CA. who came up through the Karts and TQ's at Ventura.
The real Judge Ito was named Lance. Calling him "Judge" was a joke, started I think by Ventura promoter/announcer Jim Naylor because the OJ trial was getting a lot of press just down the 101 a few miles. George was a pretty good shoe and I think he took the nickname in good humor; it didn't hurt that it probably got him mentioned a few extra times a night by Gary & Larry on the Thunder telecasts...
