Re: FAST on Dirt 410 Wing Sprints - 2020 Schedule.
My mind needs resetting. Correct any shortcomings:
This is the winged portion of the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series? The old FAST series (Fremont-Attica) is called something else? And on a totally separate note, who owns the NRA Sprint Invaders now? |

A quick comparison of the 2 schedules looks like it’d be quite possible to run the entire schedule with both series with the exception of May 24. But they are allowed to drop one race per series. And the nights they are both at the same track would not be easy. |

Let's see:
MTS is now Great Lakes Traditional Sprints and is under the guidance of Great Lakes Super Sprints. FAST Sprints is part of BOSS but a separate series. The former with wings, the latter without. SOD was bought by Dave Muzzillo, who apparently has paired up business-wise with Ed Kennedy who owns Plymouth Speedway. Somewhere along the way they picked up the NRA. So now they have a 410/open and a 360 series, whereas last year SOD (410/open) and GLSS (360) were going head-to-head sometimes up here north of the Indiana border. SOD has abandoned the small spec RR tire for 2020. The old FAST series is now AFCS, but really doesn't matter that much to me for they are out of my area. I'm ZO con-FYOOOOSED ! |
Don't forget there is the new Great Lakes Crate Series. Which will be trying to book wing and nonwing shows in addition to their late model series.
