Kyle Busch news

Official from M&M Mars: Mars, Incorporated announced today that they will be removing Kyle Busch from driving the M&M’S® car for the remaining two races of the 2011 NASCAR season as a result of the incident during last Friday’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. The car will not run with the M&M’S® paint scheme until 2012, at which time Kyle Busch will be the driver with the expectation that no future incident take place.

Just put a number on the car and go win it. Still, no one has said who caused the yellow during the truck race where Kyle received all this attention.

Man, give it a rest. In motorsports, accidents happen nearly every race. These incidents aren't malicious or on purpose. This is why they're called accidents. Imagine how few cars would be running at the end of a race if everyone behaved like Kyle Busch did when the caution came out.
As a car owner, how would you like it if someone destroyed your car if it caused an accident? I find it mind boggling considering your expirence with racing, that you are so dismissive of his accident.

Also, im sure Gibbs isn't thrilled that the M&Ms sponsorship is being pulled for the final few races. The team is going to be losing money, and I can't imagine that they're going to be happy with Kyle. Im interested to see the ramifications of this as it pertains to his status as one of Gibbs primary driver...

He's being suspended by one of his biggest sponsors, until next year. This is no minor thing. In these guys world, he's one more incident away from one of the worst things that can happen to you, taking place.

I'm pretty certain you can count on Kyle Busch being in no future incidents. :5:

I eat an awful lot of M&Ms and all this is forcing me to consider switching to peanut clusters.

I believe he is still going to race, just not with M&M's as the sponsor. Interstate Batteries will be on the car for the final two races.

According to espn ovalmeister is correct....I also seen that z-line which is his nationwide sponsor asked to have Denny Hamlin in the car and not kyle..maybe he'll think again before making another stupid decision

That's a good sponsor for the car, since everybody seems to be CHARGED up about this KB incident.:3:

Someone please explain how M & M's Mars is doing anything productive in our society besides making children and adults all over the world fat unhealty and diabetic. Give it a rest. Its racing, not advertising.....All the Kyle Busch haters have had an entire week of bashing. Lets get back to racing and move on with our lives....

If M&Ms became a title sponsor of the USAC National Sprint car series I'm sure we would be all toting 1 pound bags of M&Ms to all the races. ;)

Also should we not start more threads on TOM Busch than Kyle on this board. He is a lot closer to IOW than Shrub and a much more pleasant fellow to boot.

While I consider it a real dumb thing to do, just the week before, I'm not sure that the "Onion" Bodine missed the pace car, and I don't recall anything being said, and Hornady, with that "who me" look on his face, is no stranger to creating danger either, maybe they need to put brake lights on top of the cabs, kinda looked like Ron's truck was brake cking, when Kyle was pushing him, either way, it took the 2 of them, to make it happen, and I'm sure has caused a lot of grief in a lot of camps, but it's still advertising, and it gets to a lot more people, than they could afford to buy. BTW, I haven't seen any Mars Bars on any shelves lately, I used to enjoy one once in a while, just like Forever Yours, which now has become Milky Way Dark Chocolate, I did find Mars Bars available on line tho, and the Milky Way Dark, is a lot cheaper there also. Bob!:)

Well for starters they employ 70,000 people, pay taxes on $30 billion in annual sales and is ranked as the 5th largest privately held company in the United States.

The only children or adults getting "fat unhealty and diabetic" are the ones ignorant enough to stuff them in their faces all day long.

Remember when Jolly Rancher sponsored the USAC midget series? They gave away candy at every race. I ate the freebies and also bought it at the store too. When they left, I stopped eating their candy.

Ah, yes I remember it well! I was always able to get a few extra helpings from George Seats. Hated to see their sponsorship end; still have a Jolly Rancher racing cap.

LocalYokel 11/12/11 2:47 AM

Dude! That used to be awesome when Jolly Rancher sponsored the midget series! I remember people walking through the stands and giving out candy. I was like 6, and at the time, it was totally the best thing ever!

Kyle Busch got booed long before this latest event.

I can remember being at Atlanta for a truck race (during the time Newman would win every other pole), and during Cup qualifying, Newman got booed when he snagged the pole.

Ever notice they play with the sound, so you can hear the crowd cheer when Dale Jr gets the lead at Talladega or Daytona (as if that has anything to do with the outcome of the race). They also turn it down when someone like Johnson drops his horseshoe and wrecks.

You need to remember people would boo Busch without the idiocy. Anyone who can sweep all the races in a weekend after someone paid ~$300 to go see three races is gonna get booed.

Remember that well, won some free tickets to IRP and some Jolly Ranchers.
