Actually I guessed it was Mario, before I saw the name on the cowling.
I have this diecast STP Red Indy car and I thought it was number 2. I thought maybe Mario drove this Red Number 2, also and the Indy car had STP on it too. Larry Otani:applaud: |

Al, That day glo color never did reproduce correctly in photos. The Menard indy car that Tony Stewart drove was that chartruese green and it always came out yellow in prints. I took pictures of it at Pike's Peak Int'l. and Phoenix and was always frustrated with the results.
Most of the young guys on IOW never had the thrill of hearing one of those 255 Offys going down the back stretch on a mile track either. That is way too bad!! Vern Plotts |
