Actually I guessed it was Mario, before I saw the name on the cowling.
I have this diecast STP Red Indy car and I thought it was number 2. I thought maybe Mario drove this Red Number 2, also and the Indy car had STP on it too. Larry Otani:applaud: |

Well, like always I misinterpreted the question. I thought he wanted to know what STP stood
for. Here the link on STP. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/STP_(motor_oil_company) "Scientifically Treated Petroleum" a division of Chlorox? Larry "O" P.S. I like DAGO red better. Just sound right...LOL Here's the link for "DAGO" http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=dago "Day Goes" = Day Goes Them dagos over there get paid at the end of the day or we will give them a half days pay if we finish early because they get paid as the "day goes".:rolling |

I painted my car that color back in the late 80's. In the Mathews colors (which are superior to "House of Color" paints as far as light-fastness and durability) it's called "blaze orange". It's a three step process: white base coat, blaze orange coat, and then a clear coat. it's gorgeous when done correctly.

Unfortunately, in this color faded slide it may look Blaze Orange, but this color, in actuality, is more red than it appears. I have used Day Glow Red and Blaze Orange in rattle cans for surveying markers. Reds and oranges don't show quite right on the computer screen either. I've also seen the color of your car and it's not the same as this was.
