Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info
While I appreciate what they are doing with the webcast, in the later half of a global recession when everyone else is already tightening their budgets, I think the timing of charging for this is a little off.

You are right, therefore after I watch the race I'm going to ask for a refund. Grady |

I would pay if it was video feed but not worth it for me to only get audio. JMO.

Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info
I cannot believe someone would complain about $3.99!
Probably the same big shots that will go down to the local pub and spend $20.00 on beer and brag about how great a racer they are. These guys do a great job and have offered this free for the last 4 or 5 years, guess what, they are in the same economic crunch the rest of us are in. $3.99 is nothing. I signed up, if you are not then let it rest!! Jeff Palazzolo |
Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info
You could give him an all expense paid trip there and they would B TCH .We got ours .

Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info
I listened to several Racin Boys broadcasts last year and IMO what they offer simply isn't worth paying for.
|
Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info
It's still better than not being there at all. 4 bucks.... just buy it for crying out loud.
Here is a game we concocted last year..... every time they say OOOHHHH you do a shot or drink a beer. Here's to your quick intoxication! :32: |

Woo- who $3.99, I'm all in, just like the four, before. To our local broadcast haters, why not listen to the A-Mains for a whole dollar per. If not, consider being more creative with reasons not, like Oh mannnnn...., I've got appointments to have all four of my cats bathed and groomed on these nights or darnit, mom blocked my nightime internet access until I'm 18 just because of something that someone posted on my Facebook wall. Both are creative and perfectly acceptaBULL reasons.
As for the local tight wods, why not the, " It's so much better to read the finishing orders and exciting conversations posted on my favorite message board, IndianaOpenWheel.com. Ohhh, H.E.L.L.yea, (pardon my Scottish Gaelic) it's the third best thing to being there, and is why I'm donating my $1.99 to the forum instead" GO.... Sam...whoever |
Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info

Rob Klepper has been added to the broadcasting crew. As most open wheel fans and teams know Rob is one of the very best in the business.
Thanks Rob for coming on board. ..Scott T |

After listening to Jackslash at the Tulsa Shootout I will not sign up. It is said to be the same equipment and streaming and my reception was terrible. Listen to Jackslash Saturday before you subscribe.

Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info
Thanks for that speedy answer! Was not gong to type a M/C card number!:8:
Not interested any longer! Was willing to go to PayPal. Joe |
Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info
RacinBoys has spent thousands of dollars on upgrading our website since the last ASCS race. THERE WILL NOT BE A PROBLEM WITH THE CHILI BOWL BROADCAST. The shootout broadcast is not using our equipment or server(s). They are only using our T1 line and booth.
RacinBoys is 4 times stronger then it was last year!!!! It's going to be OK. ...Scott T |

I have a question. Since on a few of those nights I have to work, will there be any archived broadcasts? And how fast will they be out if there will be?

Racinboys has a page to retrieve your password if you did not receive the email (Or it went to spam etc. etc. )
I went to this page http://racinboysradio.com/getpassword.php and I got it immediately! I can not believe a year at the Chili Bowl without JJ Yeley in a car racing. I am sad about that, but Healing the right way is MOST important ! He will be missed though. Good luck to JJ and Dustin Morgan. 1X |

I have absolutely no problems with Jackslash. I think he's top quality and fun to listen too and easy to follow.
Rob Klepper doing Play by Play, Please turn the other guys mics off! HELL YEAH ROB! Im sorry and I'm being honest here. I really appreciated RCNboys broadcasting the last two years. However its almost impossible to follow whose on the track, whats happening and sometimes even finishing order with them. Almost all color commentary in the form of Oh's and Ah's. I didn't dislike em but I certainly felt it wasn't worth paying for. So I didn't sign up. Now that I know Rob and Buckley are on the team. Im going on a day by day but certainly will give it a shot.. Chuck, not trying to be disrespectful. I know theres a lot of hard work and money involved, in all that Fun, That is clear in the broadcast your having. |
Re: Chili Bowl Webcast info
If I could trust them to leave the broadcast to Klepper, Jackslash, and Zoch and those folks, I'd pay but the rest of that useless announcing, no thanks.

Rob and Buckley do a fantastic job! And I really have enjoyed the racing boys interviews over the years. I have truly appreciated them bringing me as close to the Chili Bowl as I could get for YEARS! For all those times- I am more than willing to throw $4.00 their way for a weeks worth of enjoyment. An interview here and there with some of the drivers etc. Its ALL WORTH IT!!! IMO
Chat nights were fun over the years- But to just hear it live!! AWESOME! |
