I think the Montpelier Speedway would probably be interested in running a steel block sprint car class. Maybe you could contact them for some race dates.

They were looking to host a class like this I heard. It would be a great thing for this track.

There have been alot of posts on the IOW about everyones ideas. Unless it is from Sam Stockon or SCORA Series it is just everyones big ideas. It will be kept SIMPLE with the racers in this section of the country thought of first. I have tried to make contact with the new promoter at Montpelier with no luck. Right now I am contacting the commited group of racers to vote on the tire rule. Will let you know the results as soon as everyone has voted. Thanks, Sam

It was voted by the committed racers for the Hoosier DT3 to be the right rear tire. Only a few could not be reached for the vote, but it was a big majority of the thirty voting for that tire over the open tire rule. Another rule will be on cockpit adjustments, if they are on the car they must be inoperable at our races. I had a meeting with Joe Spiker the Vermilion County Speedway promoter. It has been decided that SCORA will be incorporated in the regular Saturday night show as a separate class. The SCORA regular shows dates will be announced in the future as Spiker gets his complete specials schedule together. This will give the SCORA racer a weekly show, plus what traveling events we come up with.
