Judging by Tony's current flavor of the month, I'd say the wings are staying for a bit.http://www.apexonephoto.com/World-of...84_BTKDS-M.jpg

I think I agree with you on this one. Bring the damn mods or Lm's back and make it a two day show. If I want to see wings I'll go to a wing show. I'll be there Friday but not inside the track area. :32:

Not to put down non wing racing, but I doubt many people or late models would show up for a one night show. Not too many successful nonwing/fender races in the past. Eldora has a few races you may have heard about, the Dream, the World 100 and the UMP Nationals that cover mods and late models. Last year the nationals had around 100 cars in each division. I might add, I am not one for tradition and this race has bounced around different divisions for years.

This is the same weekend as:
September 23, 24, 25 --- 31st Annual Jackson 100 Weekend
Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series $20,000 to win
at Brownstown Speedway.

Who wouldn't want to see Brad Sweet compete in all four divisions?

I'll be there Friday to see the greatest sprint car drivers in the world. I haven't made up my mind yet whether I'll hang around for the minor leaguers on Saturday. The Outlaws were brought in to boost the sagging attendence at a USAC event. If USAC fans would just stop crying and ******** about everything and go to the track the Outlaws would not have been needed.

You don't get it. We are not looking for a one nite late model show and then the 3 crown the next day. Go back and see when they ran Mods or LM's with Usac both nites.:11:

I get it, I know people don't like wings. I've been here long enough to hear people get flamed for bringing up wings.

Just because I shot two wing races last week, that don't mean I like them! I can't help if the World of Outlaws are an international series...

I know non-wing is great, I tell people all the time. It's a shame that hardly anyone outside of Indiana knows what it is.
