That would be my suggestion. It can get kind of drafty in the building if/when they open the overhead doors to let cars pass through. Certainly not a big deal especially when you consider that you can see racing right here in the midwest in December. We plan on having a great time and hope you also enjoy the show.:6:

I believe the ice storm two years ago canceled the race due to widespread power outages.

You are correct , but I think it was the show scheduled in February the was cancelled. I pretty sure they had shows scheduled in January, February and March. They got 2 of them in and man was it cold in January. I wish they would run again during fair week like they did a couple years ago in late August the night before the Silver Crown show on the mile. Good racing car count and atmosphere.jmo.

I too wish they'd run them during the fair race weekend. Since we're camped there at the Fairgrounds it makes it really convenient to walk over to the SIC to watch the midgets. Why did they quit running them during the fair? Was it because they have livestock shows in the SIC now?

Will the upcoming December show sell out or will there most likely be tickets available at the door? It's a five hour drive down there and I'm a little apprehensive about weather, wouldn't want to eat a bunch of tickets due to a blizzard.

I cant wait until this show! Went to the Dean King Memorial last year and it was great racing! I also wish that they would run them there during the fair week....to me it makes since because a lot of big names will be there for the Crown race anyway...
