Re: ASCS Canyon @ Manzy tonight, updates?

I can't remember how many midgets off hand, probably around 14-16. R.J. Johnson led all but 1 lap when Johnathon Henry got around him coming to the stripe and R.J. passed him back down in turn 1. ...

Re: ASCS Canyon @ Manzy tonight, updates?

Hockett won with only a couple laps to go. Johnathon Henry had a huge lead until he hit the inside tires and lost the handling on his and this allowed Jesse to be there and take the lead. ...

Re: Vipers Chassis copy cat of Keith Kunz Bullet?

To my understanding, when Cory came back he raced for Glenn Crossno. He is the owner of ITI and the now builds the Viper chassis. When Cory started driving for Glenn they started out running TCR...

Re: Tucson: McCluskey Memorial

ASCS runs 360 motors and they do not qualify. Heat races are formed from a pill draw and you are seated into the mains by passing points and finishing position.

Re: 360 question...

I beg to differ. Out in AZ we have some really competitive 360 motors. Casey Shuman had a 360 out at Manzy on the 1/2 and was running consistently between 18.60-18.80.
If you look back at...

Re: Kevin swidell wins western

Hockett had a rock bend the spark plug protector on the right front and it bent back and smashed the spark plug causing it to break on lap 10 so the motor had been seizing up all night. They said it...

Re: Who will win the ovals out west

I'll pick shu for the ovals. Already won a few races in that car on the short track at Manzy and should have won this past weekend on the half. Plus he picked up the win at Victorville earlier this...

Re: Dustin Morgan Sponsor questions!?

Hey Joe,
I'm about 95% sure that the orange text is "Wrecking Co" since the company is ARK wrecking company of Oklahoma.
Not sure on the M&M logo though.

Re: The King Without a Wing?

I only see one problem here, at Manzy they practice on Tuesdays and they are having a practice session this coming tuesday. There wasn't one scheduled last week and unless he wanted to rent out the...

Re: 1st trip to Manzy - Western World - start times??

Manzanita will be starting the races at 7 each night I believe. If they waited for the guys from PIR they would still be racing well into the early morning. I'm not sure about camping, here is...

Re: Oval Nationals Purse To Be Cut By 30% ???

I attend Manzy almost every weekend, and there has been no talk of lowering the purse, but it still only a two day 410 show with 360's running 3 days.

I believe they are more like a maxim. I don't Kahne's team will change chassis since he has had a long relationship with JEI

Re: If you had a $2 million dollar racing budget...

I may be a little bias, being from Arizona, but I would put Casey Shuman in a ride. I think if he was in some really good top notch stuff, he would be a force to be reckoned with. He's shown he has...

Re: Lets take a poll

I had talked to the Sheridan crew a few weeks back and they said they weren't traveling back east. They figured its best to stay close to home and save money and race locally.
