Pretty sure even Loyet requires the driver to provide some sort of funding. Thats why Pickens wasnt racing at Chili Bowl this year.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown last year. Nice bar area with a fair few Aussies and Kiwis sitting and drinking. Was about $80 a night. Rooms were good, has undercover parking. No complaints...
