Re: Terre Haute Silver Crown Oct 6

I am glad they are rescheduling this race, but that Sunday start time is a killer for us. This is not a complaint. Just with school and work the next morning, and a 2 hour drive home after the...

Re: Terre Haute Action Track Sunday 9/15 Maverick & Modified

The wings can do well, but you really have to look at schedules. Not many teams are going to head from Learnerville to THAT. Expecially when you just ran a double header and are headed to Eldora...

Re: Ricky Thornton Jr to make 410 Sprint debut with High Lim

I like the cross over! The guy has ran well in midgets as well. I know he made the B main at the chili bowl this year. Pretty sure he was top 10. So he does have some decent open wheel...

Re: Off Topic - Kokomo ???

Completely different owners now. I know they have atleast 1 $10,000 to win Late Model race. They have strategically scheduled it to pull some names. 2023 Josh rice won it. 5/17 They ran it this...

Re: Off Topic - Kokomo ???

I think that is about the time Brownstown expanded to 2 days. When they wanted all "crown Jewel" events to be weekend events. Did the late models run good then? Tracks and cars evolve over time. ...

Re: Off Topic - Kokomo ???

As you said the timing was not good. If you look at the Castrol night in America races, they have realized they need to be 1 or 2 days BEFORE a big race. When they do there stand alone shows, the...

Re: Off Topic - Kokomo ???

Yes you are right. Looking at the business model, it is clear the Super late model races did not pan out as expected last year. He would have done them again. Instead, he downsized many of those...

Re: Off Topic - Kokomo ???

They paid out alot of money last year. Good crowds and good car counts, but the money paid out was equivalent to 2 and 3 day shows. I will be the first to admit, I did not attend or subscribe to...

Re: No Springfield Silver Crown Post from USAC

I'm sure the Springfield race was much better in person. I know the WWTR race had to be better. The sound and feel, let alone being able to really see the speed.

Re: No Springfield Silver Crown Post from USAC

After those snoozers this weekend, I understand why there are no posts. Now I will say I only got to watch on Flo. NO they were not showing enough in the back. I cannot believe how small the crowd...

Re: Jennerstown Speedway

USAC needs this track. It is very nice! Maybe some better date scheduling in the future.

Re: Usac: Jennerstown usac silver crown results: Aug 10, 202

Car count was bad. Race ON TV was a snoozer. Literally I fell asleep. I get the "issues" some teams are having right now. BUT if this is going to be an elite series, you have to find a way to...

Re: Terre Haute Action Track Thursday August 1, 2024 Sprint

Awsome job by everyone. Could not really tell what type of crowd showed up. I hope it was decent. I agree any other time this event would have been or should have been canceled. I really hope the...

Re: How Would You Promote It?

Charles is right on how to do the immediate fill. Gimik stuff works 1 time.

The bigger problem with USAC is the ability to promote the drivers. Lets do a couple of comparisons between the DL...

Re: Seavey looked good L.O.D. Eagle Raceway

Shelby County Speedway
21st to 15th
Had to pass 1 or 2 cars to make it out of the B. Then had to defend the position. More USAC love last night. I really like this crossover stuff. I do agree...

Seavey looked good L.O.D. Eagle Raceway

Pretty solid debut. Qualified 13th out of 27 cars. He has to run the B to transfer. Finished 13th in the 40 lap feature. Gained 8 positions. I watched on Flo, looked solid every time the cameras...

Re: concerning a recent thread about costs of racing

PROVE ME WRONG! By the way do a little research, I'm a bit more than a general admission ticket buyer. I can prove this out from the lowest levels of motorsports right to the top. Hell stop by one...

Issue running under everyone's radar

INSURANCE. Many changes in the insurance world over the last 6 months. Many small-time promotors having their policy completely cancelled. Lack of insurance companies covering motorsports. ...

Re: concerning a recent thread about costs of racing

This thread is a total waste of time. Racers and owners are their own worst enemy. Every single dime you cut on cost in one area will be spent somewhere else. You will never save these guys money....

Re: Maverick Mayhem Feedback

I will never understand the wing hatred. I enjoy both. I have a ton of respect for the drivers that are able to run well in both. Field quality was GREAT!

Re: Maverick Mayhem Week June 20-June 23

Solid 4 races. Rainouts did bring in some names. Those were some very good shows for not being WOO or HiLimit. Fans got there moneys worth. I really hope the promoters did to. Froom the camera...

Re: Little 500 results?

I grew up at this track. This management staff has ran the track into the ground over the last 15 years. This is the only race I will attend at the place. Its very sad. When you have this caliber...

Re: Little 500 results?

Sir I know the procedure quite well. On a simple spin out the car should not set there for 5 laps before ever getting touched. From there I understand the line up and the pit time. Its not that...

Re: Little 500 results?

No report because we left right after the big 500 for vacation.

Take out the finish, it was an ok race. Several dumb wrecks. More than normal. Same old stupid stuff in the pit area. Its time...
