The UMRA King of the TQ Midgets were in action July 4, 2017, at the Rush County Fairgrounds. The next race will be this Friday, July 7, 2017, at the Shelby County Fairgrounds in Shelbyville, IN. They will be in action at Kokomo Speedway the next night Saturday, July 8, 2017. Here are the results from last night:

I haven't been around TQs for 8 years, and obviously they would have liked more than 22-25 cars, but the track conditions were arguably the best I've ever seen for Rushville. It's Rushville so it's almost always one groove, but Friday was smooth and decently tacky. Saturday slicked off but was relatively smooth and did not burn off tires, and Tuesday was heavy and slightly rough at times but they kept smoothing it out. Considering the huge amount of rain that hit the track Friday night and the rain Tuesday afternoon, I thought the track conditions were excellent.
