Contingency Program Amps Up At Lincoln Speedway & Macon Speedway This Weekend
Contingency Connection Will Benefit Tracks' Weekly Competitors
Starting this weekend, Lincoln Speedway, in Lincoln, IL, and Macon Speedway, in Macon, IL, drivers will start to receive the Contingency Connection Racer Rewards booklets. Each booklet contains in upwards of $3,000 in prizes and discounts to help pay for their future racing expenses. Each race night from this weekend until the end of the season, 2-3 drivers will benefit and receive a booklet, based on their feature finish.
The program, which has been around for 23 years, has partnered with less than 50 tracks nationwide to hook drivers up with the weekly rewards books in addition to a nice package of year end rewards for each banquet.
At Lincoln and Macon, 2-3 divisions will be chosen nightly, as well as a feature finishing position. If the driver in the announced position is in the top 15 in points entering the night, they will receive a rewards booklet. If they are not in the top fifteen in points or they have already won a booklet, it will go to the next position in line. The divisions and positions will be listed on the detailed schedule on raceday.
Between the two racetracks, promoted from the offices of Track Enterprises, in upwards of $300,000 in rewards and savings will be handed out this season through Contingency Connection. National manufacturers such as Richmond Gear, Renegade Oil, ELGIN, Holley, SCAT, JE Pistions, Edelbrock, CLEITE, Stage 8, K&N Filters, Auto Meter, MSD, Mr. Gasket, ACCEL, MAHLE, Lincoln Welders, Taylor, Melling, Fuelab, Hedman Hedders, Canton Oil Pans, SCE Gaskets, Jet-Hot, and many, many others have posted awards.
