If you're selling anything to the South Africans, beware of a guy named
"Quintin Saayman"

He is a thief! His word is no good!
Do not send anything to him without payment being in your account first.

Had a guy approach me from down there once when I was selling my DLM chassis. After a couple of emails it became clear he was a phony and a scam artist. Sorry if you got took.

I wrote this to warn you all about this guy. His word is worthless. I sold him a roller and spares. His $ directly deposited into my account. After that deal was made, I was getting ready to take all the stuff I sold him to the container and he called and asked to pack a top wing and he'd send me the $. I trusted him. He had bought thousands of dollars of stuff from me and, I was trying to help him out. I packed it in the container fully expecting the money to be sent. He did not send it. After repeated requests, he has chosen to ignore me now.
So, everyone will be warned about him.

I have been thru this so much. The only way that is safe is a direct deposit to your bank. All he needs is a routing #

and deposit the money in his bank to be forward to your bank. Then wait till it is in the bank and then ship it. There is

no way this can be cheated. Do not use credit cards. He can fight you saying the box was empty. Then they take

it out of your CC account. And again he got free parts. The bank will charge a couple dollars but it is total safe.

Yes Racerx1194, I had the money for everything else directly wired into my account. Then as I was going to load everything up in the container, he asked for the wing to go as well and he'd send me the money. Never did.

We sold one asphalt car complete and one asphalt roller a few years back successfully to Leon H. and our driver was paid to fly over and race one. We will share this info to those we known in S. Africa and pass along any reply.

Thank you for your help spreading the word guys.
Just wanted everyone to be aware to be very careful with this guy.
From what I understand, all the SA's are really good people. But you always got the one bad apple I guess.
