I am here and it sure looks very close to the old Eldora. It has a noticiable flat part along the bottom and then the banking starts about 1/4 of the way up. I was told they put 50 truck loads of new clay down before the World 100. They were hammering it with water at 10am lets hope its tacky and fast tonight. With no humdity and cool temps Quick time should Qualify in the 12 second bracket tonight.

The other thing is there is alot of campers here so early. It should be a great weekend of racing. See you all there.:thumb

They needed new or different clay. One of the main reasons I didn't make plans to attend were the worse than normal dust bowl conditions. Expecially with wings is like a ocean waves of dirt.

Worst I've gotten at the burg this year was a slight bit dusty and never had vision blocked from dust clouds.

Have fun. Give updates if ya can.

Chuck
