R&R ENTERPRISES TO EXPAND PRODUCTION TO INCLUDE 1/18 SCALE MIDGET DIE-CAST CARS

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (September 12) - R&R Enterprises announced today they will continue their commitment to the authentic replica die-cast industry by producing a 1/18th scale die-cast Midget. The St. Louis-Area based company is anticipating releasing the first replica cars early in 2009.

"We are truly excited to be adding to our already successful Sprint Car line by bringing die-cast Midget Cars to the large customer base that covets these collectibles," said Phil Rideout, President R&R Enterprises. "Over the past 2 years we have been able to deliver on our promise to bring sprint car collecting back to the collector. During this time we have been asked many times to develop a 1/18 scale Midget. We are proud to announce we have responded to those requests with a brand new Midget tool that will feature 4 different engine combinations as well as several chassis configurations."

R&R is pleased to announce the first two "R&R Midget" releases will be the 2008 Tony Stewart Chevrolet Chili Bowl Midget and the 2008 Kasey Kahne Budweiser Chili Bowl Midget. The midgets driven by Brad Loyet, Justin Allgaier & Scott Hatton are also scheduled for production. Several other cars are being considered to complete the first series, which will offer a variety of cars throughout the 2009 calendar year.

"Over the last couple of years we have been very fortunate to have secured over 25 licenses with top drivers and teams," continued Rideout. "This has proven to be a major contribution to the success of our Sprint Car line. Through these relationships we have also been able to secure licensing with Tony Stewart & Kasey Kahne which have contributed strongly to the launching of the new Midget line.

"I'd like to thank the folks at Loyet Motorsports for their generosity in allowing us to borrow one of Brad's cars for the development of this new tool. Their guidance and input has contributed to the producing of this high quality 1/18th scale Midget. Over the past few years production of die-cast Midgets has been mostly limited to NASCAR drivers who either drove or had ownership in a Midget Team. We feel like there are many full time Midget drivers who are very deserving of having their cars produced and have a fan base that will support it. Our goal is to produce very limited quantities thus allowing us to bring a wide variety of drivers to the market."

R&R will also produce in 2009 the Belleville High Banks Hall of Fame Anniversary Midget commemorating its 100 years of auto racing at the Belleville High Banks. This historical release will be distributed exclusively through the Hall of Fame.
