Well I sold off my race stuff to buy a Harley and relax some. The very same day we literally took a hacksaw to her and started cutting off the useless crap.
The same night I was on the interweb checking out mc drag racing and the next day I was ahold of a promoter and made the commitment to drag race Friday nights as soon as the bike was ready. My being retired from racing lasted about 27 hours, 27 of the best hours of my life. lol.
I wasn't scared at all till maybe 1/2 hour ago the first time with the drag stuff on her, she's a beast and wont have no problem jettisoning me if I do anything stupid. I have $ 4135 plus a few drag pieces invested. That includes the money to get it R-titled after I was almost caught up in the previous owners insurance fraud scheme. It was just appraised at just over 7 grand. Happy days, proved to me once again that just chillen is the way to go when up against the world.
Anyhow I've said it a hundred times but racers race, no matter what.

As far as my feelings for BC, what a man, what a driver, best of all what a real racer. That being said I don't have one iota of feeling bad for him. I doubt he would want or expect you to. I wouldn't want anybody to feel bad or pity me if I happened to perish while racing. I know of no other racers that would either.
I do however feel terrible for his family and friends.
Everyone else should be thinking of getting over the grief part and cherish his memory. I understand sadness at the moment but I've heard some pretty crazy reactions.
I'm not trying down play the huge loss, but it's happened thousands of times in racing.
My condolences to his family and friends they're the ones that suffered the huge lose. The rest of us as a racing community also took a hit, a collective hit.
RIP BC
The rest of you guys race on or find something to race on or in.
