The first time I ever met Bryan he was just 17 and just won both the midget and sprint features at Salem. I went to the pits and got his autograph, he was so nice and we talked for a little while. No ego at all...and he has never changed even after 3 Indy 500 and all those features wins. I'll be praying for BC! He is definitely one of my favorites!
I met Bryan at his first Chili Bowl. His fellow racers put a white board in his pit that said Big Air Award after he seemingly almost hit the rafters on the front stretch. I talked to him for 30 minutes or more that day. I was very impressed by the way he handled himself.I didn't see him again face to face for several years. When I next talked to him he was well on his way to being the Superstar he is today. Then and every time since he has been humble and kind.
